I don't expect to get my money back either from Disney or Capital One. ![]() I don't usually comment about companies, but when huge companies like Capital One and Disney take your money, have double standards and get to decide if you have enough information to prove to them, that you are correct and for them to do their jobs is wrong. The same merchant who said to contact my credit card company. After asking them how to produce a receipt of a non-transaction and asking them why the merchant doesn't have to produce receipts showing the card was used? They sent the same blunt letter saying I didn't provide enough information and said to contact the merchant. Because I didn't have a receipt saying the gift card was turned down Capital One closed the dispute. I had to explain in writing and on the phone 3x that I expected to be able to use a gift to buy stuff.
